About the Event
This class is perfect for teens who are curious about dance and want to try something new. This class series will be a beginner's introduction to classical ballet.
You’ll learn the basics - posture, alignment, positions, and simple combinations - at a comfortable pace, while building strength, flexibility, and confidence.
No experience? No problem! Join our welcoming community of dancers and discover the joy of movement, self-expression, and friendship in a supportive, fun environment.
Instructor: Anna Mankins
Anna has been in love with ballet since she was only 2 years old. She has trained with Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet, Georgia Dance Theatre, Aspen Ballet Company, and more before finding herself on the Central Coast. She has danced roles such as the Lilac Fairy in "The Sleeping Beauty" and the Queen of the Dryads in "Don Quixote". She is so excited to introduce more people to the beauty of ballet!
Ages: 11 - 15 year old
Weekly Classes: Held once per week. Tuesdays from 4:30 – 6:00pm.
Duration: 4 weeks from January 6 through 27, 2026
Tuition: $80
Payment for classes is in advance for the entire class series. Students can join after the first class session, and the tuition will be prorated. There are no make-up classes.
