About the Event
Join this playful 4-week ballet adventure, Whirl & Twirl Circus Ballet, where dancers ages 5–7 can leap, balance, and laugh their way through the circus!
This fun class is an introduction to classical ballet vocabulary and technique, emphasizing creativity, rhythm, joy, and the freedom of dancing. With beginner ballet steps, fun props, and storytelling, they’ll explore their imagination while building coordination and confidence.
On the last class, parents are invited to a special mini-presentation where dancers will show off their amazing new skills!
This class is perfect for little performers excited to start ballet in a fun way.
Instructor: Ami Brosseau
Ami started dancing at BT-SLO when she was 3 years old (see photo of her being lifted in the air as a tiny dancer)! She performed in many Youth Showcases and productions as a student dancer. Now, as a leading company dancer, Ami has held soloist roles as Esmerelda in Theresa Slobodnik's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", Bell in Gilbert Reed's "A Christmas Carol", and many more.
Ages: 5 - 7 yrs.
Weekly Classes: Classes are held once per week. Saturdays 9:45 – 10:30am
Duration: 4 weeks from Jan 10 through Jan 31, 2026
Tuition: $80
Payment for classes is in advance for the entire class series. Students can join after the first class session, and the tuition will be prorated. There are no make-up classes.
